There should be a pinky sized gap between your heel and the back the of clog, and plenty of room in the toe box area. The instep will be the snuggest part of the shoe and your heel should lift up slightly out of the shoe as you walk.

I luv the shoes but unfortunately I need to return them for a smaller size. Usually I wear a size 7 in women but the shoes were almost a size larger. They do run a lil large. So size down for a perfect fit.

I have forgotten how well Sanita clogs fit! My new black patent leather clogs in size 42N are so stylish. The arch is really comfortable. Great purchase, I shall enjoy these shoes!!
