There should be a pinky sized gap between your heel and the back the of clog, and plenty of room in the toe box area. The instep will be the snuggest part of the shoe and your heel should lift up slightly out of the shoe as you walk.

As always, the quality is great and the fit of a narrow black clog is perfect. I vote for more colors in the NARROW width for women.

Love them!
I love the matte look of the oiled leather: kind of like having a middle option between regular leather and suede. Not fuzzy like suede, but not slick or shiny like regular leather. Very cool looking.
I am usually an 8 or 8.5 in US women's sizes, depending on the brand - maybe more frequently 8.5 than 8. Sanita 38 was super tight but 39 was perfect.
