A Note About Fit
There should be a pinky sized gap between heel and back of clog, and plenty of room in toe box area. The instep will be the snuggest part of shoe and your heel should lift up slightly out of the shoe as you walk.
For half-sizes, we recommend sizing up to the next size.

I had one before which lasted 10 yrs, this one has same quality, highly recommended
This is my first time using sanitas shoes and I have to say they are comfortable at first, then they become a littler odd to use. However, after a few weeks I think your body and your feet start to get use to them. It is an interesting experience.
I purchased the brown cabrio leather clog from the outlet site this week and they arrived the next day. Incredible shipping and handling time! I was, however, immediately disappointed upon opening the package. First, the brown cabrio leather is terrible. It had a spot, almost leopard print appearance and the finish was so shiny it looked like vinyl and very "cheap". The black sole has changed to a softer material and gave under the pressure of my thumb. But, worst of all, is the cheap microfiber padded insole. First, it alters the fit in a profound way, not just a "different" way as noted on the order screen. Besides, they give no actual helpful information on that screen other than "our fit has changed". I would have had to order at least one size up, if not two. At any rate, the insole feels cheap and the cushioning is not conducive to the true feel expected from a clog like this. The whole reason I wear clogs is for the firm support required to keep my body aligned. I have owned many pairs of Sanita in the past but this recent purchase was my last. I am returning and will search for a brand with higher quality and more traditional standards or a custom crafter.
We are sorry to hear the shoes do not fit comfortably. We have transitioned from a leather footbed to a microfiber footbed, providing additional cushion and breathability. For some wearers it may contribute to slightly different fit or feel. Please contact us at email@example.com so we can assist in finding the right pair for you.
I have been wearing the Bordeaux Sanita Clogs for the last 10 days or so in the kitchen I work in. My feet are on the wide side (but not wide enough to need wide sized shoes). I find them a bit tighter in the toes than the Dansko clogs I had previously, but it isn't uncomfortable. However, I did have to get one size larger than the Dansko clogs. The insole is very comfortable and supportive. I have no issue being on my feet all day.
The bad news is the color of the shoes seems to be changing. When they arrived were a beautiful dark red color. But after only a few days of kitchen work, the dark hue of the leather is beginning to fade away, starting at the toes, leaving a bright red/orange leather underneath. I fear it will only be a matter of weeks before I'm wearing bright red clown shoes.
Thank you for your purchase and for bringing the issue with the leather to our attention; we have responded to you via email to discuss next steps.
My Cabrios arrived in the post promptly and fit like two stilted gloves. LOVE them!
