There should be a pinky sized gap between heel and back of clog, and plenty of room in toe box area. The instep will be the snuggest part of shoe and your heel should lift up slightly out of the shoe as you walk.
For half-sizes, we recommend sizing up to the next size.

It was suggested to order a size up from my usual size due to new sizing. They arrived and are huge. I am returning them to get my normal size.

I'm sorry to hear the size wasn't quite right! I do want to advise you that clogs are supposed to feet a little bit looser than other shoes, in the sense that there should be a pinky-sized gap between the back of the foot and the shoe, and the heel should lift slightly as you walk. Love my new pair
I have had 3 pairs of Sanita’s and love them all!!! I was so excited to receive my newest pair since it has been a year with my old ones. I am a nurse and spend over 12 hours on my feet and these clogs are comfy and fit great!!

This is the 4th pair of Sanita clogs I have bought, all the same size. Because the clogs are handmade, the fit on each pair is different. This one is a little too loose, but in my experience, the same size might be just right, too tight, or have two shoes with very different fits. Without going to a store and trying every pair in stock, it isn’t possible to guarantee a perfect fit. I like the design, these will do.
