There should be a pinky sized gap between your heel and the back the of clog, and plenty of room in the toe box area. The instep will be the snuggest part of the shoe and your heel should lift up slightly out of the shoe as you walk.

I had a pair of these chef shoes 23 years ago and they finally just fell apart after all there usage. Was so glad I got another pair, fits fabulous and if they last as long as the last pair I’ll be in my late 70’s and hopefully retired and sitting on a beach in flip flops!!
