I work from home, have the finickiest feet, and I live in these slippers. I have both the Stromo and the Lodge Slide, and though I have never cared for backless slippers, the Lodge Slide hug and hold the foot and the slipper doesn’t go flying off like so many mule styles do, and I find myself wearing these almost exclusively. I have a spare Sanita insole and took it to a cobbler and had him attach a piece of felt to the footbed for winter, so I have a nice, cozy footbed for the cold weather. Wearing socks with slippers is not for me, so the felt provides coziness while still keeping the sublime support of the Sanita footbed. I’ve searched far and wide and ordered all the well-known slippers…Giesswein, Birkenstock, Glerups, Haflinger, Woolfit, etc - none can compare with the support that Sanita provides. Sanita outperforms every slipper I’ve owned.
All wool slippers with stretch some with time and wear. These are no exception, and although they became looser and not that snug hug, they still could have been worn more easily with socks. Since I hate the feel of socks with slippers, I removed the footbeds and washed these in a shoe-washing bag and air dried. They shrunk back down to the snug hold that I enjoy, and the love affair with these slippers continues. I will continue to ask for a felt-covered Sanita cork footbed to be offered, that would be the icing on the cake. Sanita slippers for life, here.

So good!
These are the best, most comfortable slippers I’ve ever had. They also grip the floor. I can’t recommend them enough!

Love!
Sooo comfortable! Treat yourself and buy the wool footbeds for these they make them even better!! I found the sizing to be right on. I’m a 6.5 in US shoes and ordered my usual 38’s and am very happy with the fit. They are more structured than the Faroe slippers which I love too but with hard wood floors and a dog who wakes me in the wee hours of the morning to go out I decided I really needed a slipper with an indoor/outdoor bottom :) Buy them!

Comfortable and perfect fit
Just the right shoe to slide on and run out of house to grab kids, to wear as a slipper or most anytime.
