There should be a pinky sized gap between heel and back of clog, and plenty of room in toe box area. The instep will be the snuggest part of shoe and your heel should lift up slightly out of the shoe as you walk.
For half-sizes, we recommend sizing up to the next size.
The open-back style Sonja features a black cabrio leather upper with a padded instep and an anatomically correct footbed. The polyurethane outsole features a rocker bottom. This style is approved by the APMA and part of our Professional Collection.

Best fit!
I've worn these clogs for 10 years - just got my third pair. Was worried when I read they had changes the fit. I have small feet and the previous fit was great - only clog I could find anywhere that fit. Lucky me - even with the new fit they are a good fit and THE MOST comfortable clog ever.

Love these, happy they still make the same design, goes with everything, pants to dressy. My 3rd pair, though the soles are not lasting as long. Wish they could re-sole these, tops still look good ….

My new Sonja Sanitas are so, so comfortable. I have very narrow feet and never realized that my Danskos were such a poor fit… until my Sanitas arrived! I LOVE them. My only complaint is that I fell and scuffed one shoe on the side, and it scuffed the brown finish off leaving a bright red streak. I got some leather cream and I’m hoping it helps soften the brightness of that mark a bit. But they are so comfortable- and light!
