There should be a pinky sized gap between your heel and the back the of clog, and plenty of room in the toe box area. The instep will be the snuggest part of the shoe and your heel should lift up slightly out of the shoe as you walk.
The open-back Karl Textured Oil features a textured oil leather upper with a padded instep and a microfiber insole with an anatomically correct footbed. The polyurethane outsole features a rocker bottom. This style is approved by the APMA and part of our Professional Collection.

Love Them So Far
I’ve been waiting to buy another of clogs forever and these are the best. Comfy, look and fit well so far. Quality workmanship. Love the non-wood soles (as much as I love the original) which are much easier on the feet and body while walking. I can slip into/out of them so easily for the numerous errands I do each day. Might buy another pair! Keep up the good work folks!
