There should be a pinky sized gap between your heel and the back the of clog, and plenty of room in the toe box area. The instep will be the snuggest part of the shoe and your heel should lift up slightly out of the shoe as you walk.

Ordered two pair, different pattern, same size. One pair too big the other pair the right shoe was defective or simply the wrong size. I returned both, understood the would a restocking charge of $8. Refund was processed minus $20. I have worn Sanita for many years but will be looking for a different brand. 😔

Great but short
I have the same shoe just different pattern in a size 41, ordered these online thinking they would fit the same but they were too short. My toes kept hitting the top. I was sad but returned them and exchanged for a bigger size so we will see.
