A Note About Fit
There should be a pinky sized gap between heel and back of clog, and plenty of room in toe box area. The instep will be the snuggest part of shoe and your heel should lift up slightly out of the shoe as you walk.
For half-sizes, we recommend sizing up to the next size.

The exchange process is long. I have been wearing Sanita Pro's for 12 + years. I have always worn and am currently wearing the same size. Sanita changed the insole and this caused the shoes to fit differently. I have never had Sanita to fit so poorly. The first shoes that I've bought in 4 years were to short, my heel was firmly against the back of the closed clog. After contacting Sanita I was informed of the changes to the insole and instructed to go a size up. Exchanged accordingly and once receiving new order was swimming in the shoes. Sent in a 2nd exchange (third order), this time for a narrow in the new size up. Hoping that with help, honestly the shoe felt as much too long as my usual size was too short. I have a pinkie room in the back of my current shoes, this size up was more, but because they were also so much wider, not sure if they were also too long. We shall see. Sanita should have kept the original leather insole in a few select Professional shoes, specially since they knew the difference the new insoles changed in sizing. People are brand loyal because of consistency and quality.
Too tight across the top of the clog. Plenty of length and good width in heel and toe areas, but too tight across in the mid shoe region.
I normallh wear sanitas at work, but brought only sneakers and slippers upon leaving the city. When I stumbled across an old pair at my mom’s house where I was quarantining, I realized they are also great for a wearing in a house with cold floors, and while cooking in the kitchen, and provide way better support for the feet. Since I have become the family chef, I am really happy with my choice to order this new pair!
Shoes are beautiful; however, I sent them back for an exchange. This model does not come in wide width and didn't realize regular width would be too tight on my tall instep. I have my old Sanita clogs which do not specify width, so I had to take a guess knowing from other reviews that exchanging would not be a problem if I had to. I am still waiting for my exchange, hopefully they arrive this week.
