There should be a pinky sized gap between your heel and the back the of clog, and plenty of room in the toe box area. The instep will be the snuggest part of the shoe and your heel should lift up slightly out of the shoe as you walk.
The Ingrid features a polyurethane-coated leather upper with a movable strap with adjustable buckle, as well as a padded instep and a microfiber insole with an anatomically correct footbed. I’ve been a die-hard Sanita wearing nurse since I can remember. I usually have closed back shoes but I did have a pair of the sanita “Sonjas” that finally needed to be replaced. I liked that this pair has the strap that can flip down for what I call “sport mode.” I wore them today and they didn’t even have a breaking in period. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on. So glad I purchased them. Great shoe and great price.
